What are the requirements to rent a vehicle?

In order to rent a car you need a valid driver’s license, a major credit card with a name that exactly matches the renter’s driver’s license, and the renter must be 25 years of age or older. The main driver and any additional drivers must be present to rent a car.

What is the credit card policy?

Credit cards with a major credit vendor logo, such as MasterCard, Visa and DiscoverCard, are accepted to rent a vehicle. There will be a security hold placed on your credit card, the amount will vary depending on the type of rental. You may close out the rental in cash if there are no damages to the vehicle upon return.

Can I use a debit card?

We accept debit cards, however the debit card must match the name on the renter’s driver’s license. When using a debit card, the renter MUST have full coverage with their personal auto insurance and a deposit greater than the total rental will be held on the card. We will release the deposit as soon as the rental is returned; however, it will depend on your bank to release the funds back to your account. Debit cards can take up to a week to see the deposit released (this will vary depending on your bank).

Do you offer collision damage waiver insurance?

We unfortunately do not offer any insurance at this time. However, we allow customers to use their personal automobile insurance as coverage for the rental.

Do you offer car seats?

Yes, we do offer car seats for rental. By USVI law all children 5 years and younger must be seated in a car seat. The first seat is complementary.

What happens if I need roadside assistance on St. Thomas or St. John?

Please call us first, and we will do everything we can to provide assistance. If you have a flat tire, each vehicle is equipped with a spare tire and a jack. If you need roadside assistance after regular business hours, the glove compartment of each vehicle contains a list of tow truck companies that can provide after-hours service to our customers on both islands.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

You may cancel three days before your arrival without incurring any charges. If you cancel within the three days then we will charge you for a one day rental.

Is there a fee for a second driver?

Yes, there is a daily fee for additional drivers. There is no fee to add a spouse as a second driver. The credit card holder is considered the main driver.

Is there a late fee?

Yes, there is a late fee. Please give us a call if you are running late, and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer an additional 5% discount for active/veteran military personnel. You must have your military ID on hand at the time of the rental and be listed as the main driver on the contract with a major credit card in your name.

How old do you have to be to rent a car?

You must be 25 years or older and have a major credit card to rent with our company. If you are between the age of 23 and 25, you must have full coverage with your personal insurance and there will be an additional daily surcharge added.

What if my flight is delayed?

We offer after-hours pickup for an additional charge, but it must be arranged in advance. Please call or email the office to let them know you will be delayed.

Do you offer airport pickups?

Yes we do! We are directly across from the airport, so simply give us a call once you’ve collected your luggage, and we will send our driver to meet you.

Can I choose the color of my Jeep?

Unfortunately it is not possible to choose the color of your rental vehicle at this time.

Is it true that you drive on the left?

Yes, it is, and it’s pretty fun!
